We just recently acquired this incredible filly after 3 years of wanting her. We first saw her at the 2002 AMHR Nationals where she won almost everything that she went into, along with winning our hearts. She was the National Champion Weanling Mare, Under, the National Futurity Champion Weanling Mare, Under, along with the National Reserve Grand Champion Junior Mare, Under. She has not been shown since then, and is just producing babies. Her first a filly is an AMHR Reserve National Champion. Sierra is where our breeding program all began. When I first met this mare I knew I had to have her, luckily I was given the honor of training and showing this mare both as a junior and senior horse. There was not much out there that could touch her in competition. She was what everyone would have to strive for in their programs. When we entered her in Liberty for the first time everyone in the stands, judges included, sat "slack jawed", she was a mini that truly moved like a full sized Arabian. After that she was fondly referred to as the Liberty Machine. She literally went undefeated that year. She had captured everyones heart and was the start of the "Northwest Arenosa craze". Funny since she only carries roughly 12% Arenosa blood, but embodies the Arenosa standard. When she became available to purchase of course we grabbed her right up. THR Sweet Sophistication was her first foal and the beginning of our dream. She was everything we hoped for, dreamed for, and the dream remained alive. "Buffy" is the newest addition to our outstanding line up of broodmares. She carries the bloodlines of Burgies's Painted Tramp, Rucker's Blue Patti VB, Kewpies Mucho Muchacho, Kewpies Topper of Arenosa and Frisco's Fancy of Arenosa. She has a huge expressive eye and a very balanced body. She will be a compliment to our beautiful stallions. Along with her wonderful color genetics, should give us some spectacular foals. You can see her 2006 son on our stallion page. I want to thank Linda and Pat McGinnis for the opportunity to own this gorgeous mare and foal.
